SNG Copenhagen 501. SNG von Aulock 1416. A very interesting case of a damnatio memoriae. Geta's portrait erased and with minor deposits, otherwise, fine.

This is a very interesting example of damnatio memoriae, the removal of a person from all official media. It was enacted on some coins following Geta's murder by Caracalla in 212.
